Type Styles & Print Colors for Personalized Custom Ribbons
Print foil comes in a wide range of colors; however generally, personalized
ribbon involves printing just one color. Our foils are rich, elegant and very festive.

When
selecting ribbon and print colors, remember that good contrast
between the printed information and ribbon will make your message
stand out. Ribbon and print colors that are too similar will
not be as striking. For instance, a dark ribbon, and light
print color look best. Gold and Silver Metallic print colors
look great with almost any color ribbon and they are the most
durable. (White is the least durable of all colors.)

Type Styles, Fonts & Emblems
To create the print layout, we make a FREE custom metal plate (die) from a computer digital image. Therefore virtually ANY font style and ANY Language can be used. There are some special issues with printing on fabric, so to ensure that your printed information prints clearly, we recommend the following...
TYPE STYLES & EMBLEMS
We generally recommend the Goudy Cursive type style or a plain style for clear elegant printing (see sample below). Goudy Cursive is a script font, specifically designed for printing on fabric. It will print clearly on 3/8" + widths. We also have over 3,000 digital fonts on hand, so just let us know your favorite and we will let you know if it works for your ribbon width. And there is no charge for the use of special fonts.

Goudy Cursive
is the most popular type style used for printed ribbon. One line fits on 3/8 inch ribbon. Two lines on 5/8 or 7/8 inch ribbon, Three and Four lines are perfect for 1.5 inch ribbon.
