If you intend to use your continuously printed ribbon for packaging, keep in mind the following information on durability.
About Durability
Since your pre-packaged products will generally be stacked, packed and handled, either during shipment or storage, a certain about of abrasive rubbing can naturally occur. When it comes to Hot Stamped printed ribbon, rubbing and scrapping can sometimes impact the quality of the printed information. For maximum durability, stick with metallic print colors - Gold or Silver. These elegant colors offer the best strength and protection against damage. Other colors may be fine for your application, but depending on the amount and kind of rubbing or scraping, some of the printed information (not all -- for instance part of a letter or so) could get scuffed. Hot Stamped ribbon cannot be washed or dry cleaned.
And In terms of the ribbon itself -- our satin ribbon is very strong!
